A student who has a Bachelor degree or equivalent, can apply for bachelor degree programs at REU based on the following conditions, including the equivalent courses:
- The applicant must have graduated from a recognized college/ university.
- The applicant must have a scientiIic high school certiIicate from a Saudi school or equivalent.
- The applicant‘s GPA must not be less than 4 out of 5 or 3 out of 4 for the Dentistry, and 3.75 out of 5 or 2.75 out of 4 for the other programs.
An Applicant who exceeded 5 years or more since he/she graduated from the high school can apply for an admission at REU based on the following conditions:
Attaching the Required Documents:
- The applicant must have a high school certiIicate from a Saudi school or equivalent.
- The applicant must not be registered or dismissed for any disciplinary action.
- The applicant should practice good manners and right conduct.
- The applicant must be medically fit.
- Paying nonrefundable registration fees = 2000 SAR.
- Paying tuition fees.
15% VAT tax is added for non-Saudi students.

- Writing a declaration letter to the Deanship of Admission and Registration clarifying the reason/s for not continuing the bachelor degree after high school.
- An updated C.V.
- High School CertiIicate / Qudrat and Tahsili Grades / Other Courses, Workshops, or Diploma CertiIicates.
1. A student of REU who plans to study as a visiting student in another university:
Policies:
- The university must be accredited and recognized by the Ministry of Education.
- The courses to be studied should be equivalent to the requirements of graduation in REU.
- The equated courses are encoded as (خ )on a visiting student‘s transcript, and it is not counted in his/her GPA.
- Courses with grades less than (70% = C), or ”Pass“ with no score are not qualified for equalization.
- The maximum total of the credit hours to be counted for a visiting student is 20% from
the total graduation credit hours in REU. - The visiting student are allowed to study as a ”visitor“ for 2 semesters maximum.
Studying Procedures and Courses Equalization for a Visiting Student:
- The student should apply a request including courses descriptions to the Deanship of Admission and Registration, asking to study in another university as a visitor.
- The Equalization Committee at the student‘s department college will review the request and inform the student whether it is accepted or rejected.
- Once the request is approved, REU‘s Deanship of Admission and Registration is going to contact the Deanship of Admission and Registration of the other university.
- Once the student Iinish his/her courses as a visiting student, he/she is asked to provide a copy of the results to REU‘s Deanship of Admission and Registration in 2 weeks maximum from the beginning of the new semester.
2. A student from another university who plans to study as a visiting student in REU:
- The student should provide REU‘s Deanship of Admission and Registration with an approval letter including courses titles from his/her college or university.
- Copy of the National ID/Iqama.
- Filling the application.
